That you and Matt Bors have intersected in this way brings me a strange sort of joy.
I don’t follow this entirely contrived drone brouhaha. Is the rationale that REAL men don’t let robots do their fighting for them? When I was dodging the draft back in the ’60s to keep my ass from being shipped to Vietnam, I sure wish we were using drones instead of warm bodies. Some of my friends would still be alive today.
Yeah, it isn’t like we wouldn’t be fighting in the areas they’re sending the drones in. Most of the bellyaching I hear about it are from wingnuts and lefties who find Obama a little too brown for their tastes.
