Dang, I haven’t seen speech bubbles that long and skinny since Regency period editorial cartoons. Is that the oldest comic reference in Weapon Brown, or am I just so used to seeing a shout out on every page that I’m imagining things?
I’m just wondering if the music that was on previously is maybe a way to put in and hide some-sort of tracer program….? Maybe to find Buxlee? (feeling sort of weird thinking it too)
@ksldjsldkfj
I don’t think the music is to throw off the spirit I think the music is a piggyback for a tracer program so that they (Annie and Co.) can find Buxlee – what the spirit has to do with WB I don’t recall exactly -if I remember it was created to track Chuck. Annie and Co. are tracking where the spirit is going – I don’t think they are dummies. These characters rarely were in their original worlds.
Totenzunge: it’s German for \Dead Tounge\. I have not the faintest idea how that’s relevant to the flying homing-skull though. I’m just tellin’ it like it is, baby.
@Sandman: apparently you missed the discussion for the previous comic; Toetenzunge is supposed to be “Deathtongue” (modulo a Superfluous Metal Umlaut or two), which is the heavy metal band from Bloom County.

I’m curious to find out if the music will influence the behaviour of the DNA-tracing spectre.

@agentsarahjane
I vill reveal NOTHINK!!
Dang! I keep forgetting about that flying DNA skull thing. When is he gonna find his man?
Me thinks it Just did.
So the Wizard of ID is going to be showing up soon I take it. Here comes the syndicate…
And soon there will be a happy happy reunion and there will be cakes and lemonade and games and oh so much fun!
It’s got eyeballs now!
agentsarahjane – Huey and Annie do not know the Syndicate is looking for Chuck. I would be surprised if the music could throw off the Id spirit.
It’s getting closer and closer! Not unlike the impending zombie apocalypse of March 2010…

BTW my re Captcha is “growing exciting”
I think the music is an attempt to indoctrinate Brown with its evil subliminal messages!
Well, that or just a tried and true interrogation technique for wearing down a guy’s resistance.
the music is payback for sending buxley to her death. Karma’s a bitch Brown. He kinda deserved it.
