I just want to add my voice to the outpouring of praise and gratitude for your amazing work, JY. WB is one of the most beautiful comics, the most intense, the most engaging that I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. I can’t wait to buy this in hardcover.
You sir are AMAZING. Thank you for an incredible ride!
Thanks to all of you for your outpouring of appreciation. I am really glad to have created a story that has been so engaging for so many, and it really makes me feel like my time was well spent. MWAH!
(Captcha, however, would like to know what is all the Teedbit For?)
However, I am glad that Beepo and Roadkill will be returning soon. I came *this* close to putting a plastic bag over my head, but this joyous news has given some meaning to my pointless existence!
This has been an amazing adventure, one I hope will continue. That said, I’m also looking forward to some other projects from you. Keep up the good work, sir.
So good the 2nd time as well. So much good stuff in the last frame…Get MetLife…barbed wire (WW I shout out), down airplane (surprised not a WW 1 era) and the crack in the road…so good.
Every time through is satisfying. I keep looking for more that I’ve missed. Like the long-awaited valentine in the mailbox. I can’t believe it took me until now to notice it. I hope the tags will always stay with the archive so we can always come back and check out references that couldn’t be included in the annotations in the hard copy. Thanks yet again Jason for your wonderful, hard work.
Front to back, I have to say that was one hell of a ride. Jason Yungbluth, I think you’ve out-Frank-Millered Frank Miller. In fact I think you’ve knocked him flat on his ass, flipped him over and fistfucked him with a double-headed Sin City omnibus. This is one of the rarest of parodies, both a loving homage and an upraised middle finger. This is Frank Zappa in ink. In short, this is primo shit.
I think what I’m trying to say is, thank you.
And bovid. Thank you reCaptcha for reminding me.
JY: Thank you for all the commenting madness, Kang.
I just discovered this strip and I’m sorry to see that it’s over. If you ever continue the story I think it would be cool to have WB fight Mean Machine Angel from the Judge Dredd series. There are a lot of physical similarities between the two and a fight should be pretty sweet.
Hope you can get the omnibus Weapon Brown collection off the ground, and hopefully with a digital edition. Maybe Comixology can help…
Monday’s update is probably going to be late again… 🙁
Another subtle touch. I like how the mailbox is on the side of the road. Good ol’ Charlie Brown.
Well done JY, well done.

Hey LOOK! Carnivorous Kudzu, heh heh heh
Thanks JY, most excellent!
God bless you all! And me more than any of you!!
This has been an amazing journey. Thank you.
Damn you JY – now what do I have to look forward to?
(Seriously though, thank you. This has been amazing.)

Jason, you should know better than to ask that. The Teedbit For THEE.
Just as good the second time around. B)
Maybe even a little more bittersweet though. :'(
@Mitchness
My thoughts exactly
I also agree with what Mitchness said.

Even owning the Omega edition, I’m ashamed to say this never clicked, but the spelling bee mention is a nice shout-out to ‘A Boy Named Charlie Brown.’
No matter how many times I go through it, there’s always something new I didn’t notice before!
Good on the second time through. Would love an epilogue one day. Great stuff.
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Damn, that’s the second time it ended! Now I have nothing to look forward to in the morning… except the occasional surprise boner. Well, rock on!
Yesss! Yeeeeesssssss!!
You done good ‘ol Weapon Brown.
And you too, JY! Thanks for the good times, the hearts in my weapon brown book, and the marvelous H.O.B.S fridge magnet!

Excellent series sir.
Yeah, I gotta agree, seconds were just as satisfying as the first time around. Great work, Jason!

Oh. And when you get around to drawing WB again, I hope to see Jeffy kick some ass. 🙂
Does the Andy Kaufman “peers out from behind the curtain” thing, looks around, leaves.
Beautiful JY. Re-read the story. Original reader. You did an incredible job. Beautiful.
