Tell me if I got this right:
P1 — “Miss Peach”
P2 — “Snuffy Smith,” “Li’l Abner,” and something by Basil Wolverton
P3 — Porky Pine, from “Pogo”
P4 — The remains of Kokonino Kounty, from “Krazy Kat”
Errmmm … why do the comments not seem to match the comics they're showing up under?
JY: Many of these comments were from the original run of the strip, but now I have reordered some of the strips and dates. The confusing comments here refer, I believe, to the next strip in this sequence. Driving you mad is my greatest joy!
Hooray! WB is back baby!
Is that outland in last panel?

How’d I do?
Well no-shit, Sherlock! Right on all counts!
By the way, the Basil Wolverton critter is Lena Hyena.
Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…………
Damn! Someone beat me to it! I got them all right, too!
That’s a DNA sequence it’s reciting over and over. I’m assuming it’s Chuck’s.
Every one of these references is awesome, but seriously, dude, pace yourself or source material for WB3 is going to be scarce. 🙁
Comics has a loooong history.
Wow, panel 3 not only has Porkypine, but the background closely follows the famous “We have met the enemy and he is us” Pogo strip for Earth Day 1971:

Although WB has more nuclear waste and jet engines and such. Well *done*, sir, well done.
I had completely forgotten about that flying skull thing. Took you long enough to bring him back in.
Don – it is the spirit from the wizard of id comic series. It is the wizard’s spirit that stays in the tub.
no update today? 🙁
I feel better now.

Well, I was going to mercy kill my grandfather, bust since WB is back, I think I can put that off for a day or two.
Yay! Weapon Brown is the shit!
I’m braced, go ahead!
Panel three made me think of Mark Trail right off the bat, the way Jack Elrod will throw a wildlife still life in the foreground every now and then.
@flabajaba
How does Gramps survive the weekend with you around?!

Yup. I remember the maddingly sporadic pace of the original comic output! Now, if I ever put together a web comic I’d plan out..
Ah, who the fuck am I kidding? I’d post a handful, see a De Tamaso Longchamp for sale at a car show and leave my fans out to dry for a few months!
